ABOUT US
Shauna Myers LMT
If someone were to ask me what makes me an exceptional massage therapist, I would say it would have to be what my clients say the most about me; that I work intuitively. I think of each massage session as a sort of conversation with the body. I get so much out of a verbal intake with my clients, but also get a lot of requests from the body itself whether it says, "go deeper here," or "hold this pressure here."
I have been working as a licensed massage therapist since 2011 only working parallel chiropractors and spas. These contrary settings have allowed me to serve clients with varied needs and goals for their massage.
Modalities that I specialize in are Deep tissue, Swedish, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Cupping, and massage for motor vehicle accident or workers accident recovery.

I have been supporting folks on their wellness journeys as a licensed massage therapist since 2015 and have embraced the skill sets of health & wellness coaching as another tool to support and empower individuals on their journeys toward a holistic expression of health and wellbeing. I draw upon a variety of techniques to create a richly therapeutic experience that is tailored to each person’s unique needs. My favorite modalities include myofascial cupping, deep tissue, lomi lomi, trigger point therapy and myofascial release.
My passion for diving deep into the body to help people investigate and interpret their body’s communication and heal their pain is balanced by my desire to offer nurturing, soothing and relaxing touch that supports nervous system regulation. A couple of my favorite client quotes are “I’ve never had a massage that was so productive and also felt so good” and “your touch is gentle and yet I feel it so deeply”. Yes!! I provide trauma informed care and have a special interest in supporting clients living with chronic and acute injuries, chronic pain and tension due to postural imbalances and repetitive strain, chronic illness and autoimmune conditions, as well as emotional and psychological stressors. Nurturing a sense of safety and calm is at the heart of my approach whether addressing mechanical or emotional needs and I strive to create a space that supports vitality and balance.

I believe the body is self-directing and self-correcting and that there is no 'one size fits all' approach to healing. I believe every body innately knows how to heal itself and it is an honor to facilitate and witness that process. My passion for bodywork began with my own somatic healing journey in my mid 20s. I knew I needed to heal though my body and I dove into somatics head first. I trained in Yoga asana and philosophy as well as Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy and in 2024, I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts and became a licensed massage therapist.
I bring my advanced trainings to the massage table, which allows me to work with the body intuitively and hold space for whatever arises. My massage style is a combination of Swedish, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy and Thai Massage. I bring presence, pace and breath to all sessions.
When I'm not practicing bodywork, you can catch me IDing birds, snacking on fruit from neighborhood trees, and chatting with my cat Peeko. I look forward to working with you!
